Timothy L. Johnson came up with a great question — what are your most under appreciated blog posts? His list of 10 zero-comment posts included some top notch material. I ferreted through all 400+ Word Sell posts and here’s what I came up with.

This is not an official “tag”, but I’d love to see lists from Joanna Young, Bob Hruzek, Robyn McMaster, and Jeanne Dininni… along with anyone else who wants to dig into their past!

You’re on, Buddy! I can’t wait to resurrect some brilliantly pithy posts from the basement! Um, if I can find any… :-\
Bob, can’t wait to see them. Prepare to be de-uncommented, too.
What a great idea Brad. I’ll play – sometime! lots of posts asking to be written just now… meantime I’ll go and leave some comment love on these great articles
Joanna
Brad, what a great idea! You have taken something that can be hard for a blogger (okay let’s face it, brutal!) and turned it into something positive. I am going to read these gems and leave some well deserved comment love. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Brad, who needs a blog to talk about zeros? I’ve got a lot of ‘em in my bank account. In fact I’d be a millionaire if I could add a digit – but the subject is zeros not digits. Zero response to the birthday card I sent my sister. A big bagel on my letter to the president. Zilch on my blog – what blog? It’s the subject!!!! Brad, thank you so much for the incentive. I just can’t wait to start my blog…I look forward to adding more zeros.
Brad,
Wonderful idea! It may take me a while, though, with the crazy schedule I’ve got right now. But I’ll do my best to get to it as soon as I can.
Hmmmmm…Let’s see…I remember that post about…
Karen, as much as I’d like to take credit, Timothy L. Johnson is the brilliant one! Thanks for all your commenting just the same. Lennie, you always start somewhere. What better place than zero? Jeanne, you may have trouble finding no comment posts. You’ll have to go way back I imagine.
Hi Brad, this seems like a worthwhile adventure into reexaming posts that might even be long forgotten by me. You’ll see my response in the next few days!
Robyn, I look forward to reading them – I have no doubt they will be thought provoking!
Really good, provoking post.
Just a thought, though. Perhaps maybe it’s because those posts are “too good” that they get fewer comments? In the sense that when people read really good, complete posts, they tend to feel they have less to add. There’ve been arguments made for only telling half the story, to allow readers more ’space’ to comment and add value.
Just a thought, and hope that made sense.
Derrick, thanks for looking these posts over. I think you are right, and it has taken me a while to understand that.
Wow – Brad! This has generated some great discussion! Congratulations! I really liked Derrick’s and Lennie’s comments! What wonderful perspective. (Enough to motivate me to comment while I’m relaxing in New England before a retreat.)
Why this web site do not have other languages support?
Hi Inglitere, No one has ever asked about language support, but I will look into it. Thank you for visiting.
