Can small businesses benefit from blogging?

In Naked Conversations, the authors tell the story of Thomas Mahon, a Savile Row tailor who grew his business and achieved worldwide recognition after he teamed with David Parmet to do some really innovative PR work. Mahon’s blog, The English Cut, is one of the most effective, entertaining, and widely read in the blogosphere.

It didn’t happen overnight, and wouldn’t have happened at all without Mahon’s passion, Parmet’s marketing savvy, and backing from famed blogger Hugh MacLeod.

It’s an odd story, but today’s innovative PR will be standard stuff in a few years.
