Whose Smile Warms Your Heart?
Dear Writer,
Be in the moment.
Be real.
Say what’s on your mind.
Passionately.
Honestly.
Bravely.
Ask a thoughtful question or two …
About things that matter to you.
Right now I picture my daughter
Walking down the aisle and wonder
Whose smile warms your heart?
Whose joy brings peace to your soul?
Listen.
With respect and energy and love.
Respond.
With respect and energy and love.
Readers become friends sometimes you know.
A tapestry we weave but don’t always see.
Share ideas and aspirations
And joys and sorrows
But most of all
Care.

Brad Shorrs last blog post..Whose Smile Warms Your Heart?
Brad,
Thank you for this beautiful letter of poetry. As a writer, it’s so easy to sell out to the desire to make money, or be famous or say what everyone wants to here rather than what is on your heart.
All reminders, this one especially, keep me going in the right direction.

Hi Brad.
I love to see inspirational posts as I stumble the universe. Pretty cool to see it in a different format.
I appreciate the words as well, and hope that folks keep these things in mind as they wander and comment.

Brad Shorrs last blog post..Whose Smile Warms Your Heart?
Brad,
There are many times when smiles from others warm my heart, particularly young children.
But I feel that when my heart is at its warmest, is when I am able to give a smile to someone else and see their face light up as a result.
