Blogging is all about conversations. Lately, the conversations around here have been quite lively, and I really appreciate everyone who has stopped by and shared ideas. I’d like to especially thank these folks, who have made so many contributions to the discussions that go on here.

Thank You!

Andrew, your perspective is refreshing and your thinking is always clear and challenging. “There are probably many factors which contribute to emotion or passion. However, I feel that one of the key determinants of genuine passion or emotion is your level of belief.”

Rosa Say, your Hawaiian perspective is unique, and a healthy influence on writing and marketing topics.

Yvonne Russell, you recently complimented me on being a good connector; if I am, it’s because of following the example of bloggers like you. Your Writer’s Cafe Weekend posts are blog conversation at its best.

Joanna Young, what can I say? You’ve got so much to say, and I’m so glad you choose to say quite a bit of it here. “Be authentic: don’t try and pretend to be something you’re not. Kids and customers can see right through it”

Robert Hruzek, fellow knight, never a dull comment. You add wisdom and humor to everything you touch! “About the only comment I can think of (since I don’t want to leave this post out in the cold, you know) is this: I think you’ve described “analysis paralysis” beautifully! A lot of times we’re fooled into thinking we need more data. But in reality, we need more results!”

Karen Swim, your blog has become one of my favorites. You’ve got a deep understanding of the art of writing, that’s for sure. I don’t know a more open and honest blogger. “I am wearing my failure as a badge, without the stumbles I will not get to the success I desire. I’m happy to share the good and bad with others so that they can learn from my mistakes without repeating them.”

Jeanne Dininni, some of your comments longer and more enriching than my actual post … and I love it! I really appreciate the time you put into describing the craft of writing here, and researching questions that come up. “Yet, I suspect that if we paid more attention to the crafting of our headlines, as your post suggests, the difference between the number of people who read our headlines and the number who read our posts would narrow considerably.”

Amy Palko, you express yourself so vividly in words and photos — I’m not sure which I prefer! “One of the reasons why I enjoy Twitter is that it has connected me to an enormous amount of people that I may never have connected with otherwise. The benefits these connections are bringing me are unquantifiable in their enormity.”

Barbara Razgonyi, I really enjoyed our collaboration this week.

Robyn McMaster, we go back so far it makes my brain hurt.

Karen Putz, glad you’ve been stopping by!

Dr. Ellen Weber, how is it you always have something important to say?

And, thanks to recent & occasional commenters … hope you’ll be back.
