Comments are what distinguish blogs from other forms of online communication. At their best, comments are conversation contributions, so I’ve taken to thinking of Word Sell commenters as Word Sell co-conversationalists. Thanks to all of you for making Word Sell a place to learn and share ideas about writing and marketing. We’ve had lots of new conversationalists stop by recently, which is very exciting.
I know it takes time for you to visit, read, and contribute to conversations. I really appreciate the time you take doing those things here, and hope you will let me know how to make Word Sell an even better place to spend time. THANK YOU ALL!

Hi Brad – thank you for mentioning me and linking to my site. Isn’t it brilliant that you have commenters from so many different countries? Who’d have dreamed that we’d all be able to connect so easily a couple of decades ago.
One of the most fascinating things about the Internet is the ease with which we can exchange ideas, discussions and just a “howdy” every now and then with folks from around the world. It truly shrinks the globe, doesn’t it? I’m grateful to have been a part of the conversations here at Word Sell, Brad!

Joanna, I can’t believe you and Jackie haven’t gotten together. If you do, please take some pics and put them on flickr. Yes, the recent comment widget was a winner. Thanks for the feedback. I guess I can spill the beans here – I’m getting a new template, hopefully next week. One reason for the change is so I can make recent comments even more visible.

Speaking on internationalizing- if you use the FireStats plugin, you can have the commenter’s country flag appear in the comment. I do that on my blog JobMob, here’s an example:

I don’t think that you should feel ‘boring’ being from America. Although I’ve never been to the States, I get the impression that your country is one of the most (if not the most) dynamic and vibrant countries in the world.
However, I will envy you if you achieve your dream of becoming Word Sell Inc’s first commentator from Costa Rica.
Truly a worthwhile goal to aim for!
