G.L. Hoffman just released Dig Your Job, which he calls “The Most Definitive Career Advice Book”. It’s available in hard copy and as an e-book.
I’ve read it and recommend it, especially for folks just entering the job market. Times being what they are, job seekers need all the help they can get, and there’s lots of it here. What I really like is the short, informative chapters and links to sites he recommends for more instruction on his multitude of topics.
I actually had an extremely small hand (a fingertip, really) in G.L.’s book, and he was gracious enough to acknowledge me in his intro. Thanks, G.L., and best of luck helping others dig their jobs.

If this book is available in Korea, then I will certainly pick up a copy next time I go to Seoul.
Personally, I have no idea what direction my career will take when I finish my teaching contract and go back to Australia next year, and so no doubt I could really use some good clear thinking about the topic.
In my view, the practice of consulting a variety of informative viewpoints is an important step during the process of making decisions about career direction.
Whilst it is important to trust our own judgment, our thought process can easily become clouded in our own emotions whenever we are personally involved in the situation. This includes the process of deciding upon our own career moves, during which it can be difficult to obtain a clear and objective mindset.
Quality outside sources can help in such situations by providing a common sense perspective which is in no way influenced by our own emotions.
