My group project, What’s Your Favorite Business Book?, is off and running.
We may not have quantity (yet), but we sure have quality. One theme that comes across throughout–
You can’t separate business from the rest of your life.
Each of these posts is more than a recommendation–it’s a real life story. I think they are quite entertaining as well as informative.
Mark’s favorite book is Free Agent Nation.* His blog, Dancing Moose, is all about cartooning.
Denise recommends the classic How to Win Friends & Influence People. Classics are classic for a reason. Denise’s blog, Freelancing Journey, offers help to bloggers and writers.
Laura’s favorites are The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and First Things First: To Live, to Love, to Learn, to Leave a Legacy. Her blog, Writing Thoughts, speaks to writers of all kinds.
We had some additional recommendations from other bloggers in the form of comments, which I’ll summarize later on.
If you know anyone who likes to read, ask them to share the wisdom!
Thanks,
Brad
