Fear

The world crumbles
again
and yet
all things must pass
there is nothing new under the sun
I remember his words
do not be afraid.

This ‘game’ is so much fun isn’t it? Wonder if Liz is going to publish an ebook of all these pieces - she could sell the rights the the London Underground as an extension of their ‘poetry on the tube’ initiative too couldn’t she?
Actually, that’s an interesting question - what would the copyright situation be with a project like that as far as contributers go?
Hi Claire, thanks for visiting Word Sell! Good idea - it would be a perfect ebook. I have no idea about the copyright, but I’ll bet you dollars to donuts Liz does.
Actually, you should ask Drew McClellan that question! (the AoC books)
Great post, I like where you went with your 25 words. Here is my contribution http://tinyurl.com/5jov9q

Love this, Brad! It’s powerful, so true, and so encouraging!
Turning your entry into a poem was a wonderful way to make every word count!
Great work!
Jeanne
Thanks, Jeanne - glad it affected you that way. To tell the truth, there were two reasons why I made it a poem. First, I saw Robert Hruzek’s entries done that way and loved them. Second, I couldn’t figure out how to punctuate it as a single sentence!
Making it a single sentence could have been tough! But, it’s just as well, because it’s perfect just the way it is!
Brad, I’m sorry that I didn’t comment on this at the time, I read it and meant to but was busy catching up on feeds.
I found this a very powerful contribution. Quietly powerful if you know what I mean.
And I thought you said you didn’t really get poems?
Joanna
