25 x 41 Words of Wisdom

Liz Strauss just wrapped up an exciting writing project where she asked people to pass along words of wisdom in exactly 25 words. Try it. The exercise forces you to say what you mean, as opposed to just getting close. Here are the contributions. I think you’ll enjoy them for their brevity, clarity, and of course, wisdom!

Pretty cool, eh? Thanks, Liz!

I was really impressed with all of the individuals who stood up to the challenge and created some amazing pieces AND Liz for putting it all together in one Rock-Out presentation!!!
I didn’t get a chance to write my own but heck, all of these individuals certainly had some great one’s to contribute!
Hi Ricardo, maybe Liz will do a sequel! It’s a fun exercise & hope you have a chance to try it one of these days.
Hi Brad,
thanks for putting all of us into one post. yes it was a fun exercise and it makes me visit blogs I would not have found otherwise. Like yours today. Had some looks at your tips on blogging, like the category thing and narrowing down. Perhaps one day I will narrow them down, haha.
What it reminds me off though is that my blog seems to attract people mostly with the same search engine terms. One of them is “life is boring”. I had better look another time at what I post and how. I feel that writing on different topics and different categories can make my blog to thinly spread. Anyway as I said, many tips from you to read and use. See you!
Hi Miriam, Thanks for visiting! Everybody says to focus content on a narrow topic, but I have trouble doing that, too. I think you have to write about what interests you, and if that’s many things, well … go for it.
