Packaging with a Purpose for American Soldiers
One of my clients recently found an opportunity to do good business and do good at the same time.
Dennis and Lenora Salazar, owners of Salazar Packaging, Inc., have a real passion for packaging. They’re also passionate about working to help others, whether it be close to home or far away.
When the non-profit organization Project Save Our Soldiers came to the Salazars to package and ship their bracelets–which they’re selling to raise money for injured American soldiers–it was a challenging, but welcome, assignment. It gives Dennis and Lenora the opportunity to use their professional skills to contribute to a greater good. In the field of packaging automation, those opportunities don’t come around every day.
I’m glad to be (a very small part) of this project. It reminded me of what our incredibly brave soldiers are experiencing, and that there really are ways for all of us here at home to help them.
