What Do You Want Me to Write About?

HELP!

Mike Sansone left a comment on Joyful Jubilant Learning today that really got me thinking -

You build a community of learners when asking for help, yes?

What a concept! I thought I’d apply it and ask Word Sell readers straight out - what would you like me to write about on this blog?

Mike made me wonder … Maybe you have specific issues/questions on business writing, business blogging, or online marketing you’d like to discuss here. If so, why don’t we concentrate on those rather than topics I assume would be of interest. And … in the spirit of asking for help, I could use some, too, because I just hit a wall thinking of topics.

How can we help each other with writing, blogging, and marketing?

Help, I need somebody,
Help, not just anybody,
Help, you know I need someone, help. (Help!, by Lennon-McCartney)

  7. Hi Brad - I enjoy the posts you write. I would really like to see more advice on copywriting here though. For business owners who aren’t doing this all the time, it can be quite challenging. Even just writing a basic letter to customers, I almost always had to refer to a copywriting book.

  8. Brad,
I feel rather helpless at the moment. I enjoy reading all your posts, even though I am not in the marketing business. But I try to apply your thoughts whenever it is possible. So the only thing I can say is “just keep up posting them!”

  10. Great post and terrific question Brad. I’d like to see you take a poke at marketing changes for a healthy economy. It seems to me that some of the marketing flaws we saw in this turbulent market would be replace in a healthy economy. What would that replacement look like and how could it helps to trigger the change so many crave? Thoughts?

  11. Hi Ellen, Excellent suggestion - it’s going to take me some time to mull that one over. Out of curiosity, how do you define “marketing flaws”? I have my own ideas, but wonder what you think.
